The Game Awards 2016, gala en la que se reconocen algunos de los mejores juegos del año, ya tiene nominados. La organización del evento, que se llevará a cabo el jueves 1 de diciembre en el Microsoft Theatre de Los Angeles, California ha revelado los títulos que optarán a ser reconocidos como lo mejor en su género. Más de trienta medios internacionales de videojuegos compondrán un jurado que decidirá cuáles son los mejores títulos, compañías desarrolladoras o jugadores profesionales, entre otros.
De los más de sesenta juegos que nominados, el exclusivo de PlayStation 4, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End es el que aparece nominado en más categorías, pudiendo llegar a reunir los siguientes galardones: Juego del Año, Mejor dirección de juego, Mejor dirección de arte y Mejor narrativa. Además, los actores que ponen voz a Nathan Drake (Nolan North), Elena Fisher (Emily Rose) y Sam Drake (Troy Baker) han sido nominados a Mejor actuación de voz.
